About the Role
Working directly for Jibworx, a company that specialises in alpine events and brand activations, the Brand Activation Crew will support the delivery of a major European winter tour for Ridestore, parent company of snowsports apparel brands Dope Snow and Montec.
The tour will operate across approximately 8 resort stops, transporting two converted 20ft shipping containers, which will form travelling Dope Snow and Montec stores and community event hubs. Each stop will run for approximately 5-7 days., combining retail, brand engagement and community events including workshops, athlete Q&As, freestyle sessions, competitions, social activations and après events.
The activation has two core elements: a retail store where customers can view, try on and purchase products, and an event/community hub used for activities such as workshops, athlete Q&As, freestyle sessions, competitions, social activations and apres events.
There will be two main windows of onsite activity, with advancing periods around these times.
ONSITE PERIODS
BLOCK 1: 1 December 2026 - 2 January 2027* (break for Christmas 23rd-27th) BLOCK 2: 2 February 2027 - 20 March 2027* *Dates are subject to minor change.
We are looking to build a consistent core team who will travel together and work across multiple consecutive resort stops throughout both tour blocks.
Between the two blocks, the team will return home during January before regrouping for Block 2. This break is also designed around European travel and 90-day Schengen limitations for UK-based crew.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As part of the touring team, you’ll help deliver both the customer-facing store experience and the wider programme of events and activations around it.
This is more than a traditional Brand Ambassador position. We are deliberately looking to build a multi-skilled team, where everyone is confident in representing the brands and delivering a great customer experience, but also brings an additional skill, strength or area of experience that adds value to the wider tour.
This could include:
Retail / visual merchandising
Ski or snowboard coaching
Freestyle skiing / snowboarding
Event production
DJ / music / après hosting
Photography / videography
Social media / content creation
Workshop or activity delivery
Technical / practical build skills
Mountain operations
First aid
Languages
Driving / logistics
Hospitality / customer experience
Barista trained
You do not need to cover all of the above. We want to build a team whose different skills complement one another and make the overall touring crew stronger.

Use your individual specialist skills to contribute to relevant elements of the tour
Support event set-up, pack-down and practical site operations
Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented store and activation environment
Support stock organisation, basic store procedures and daily operational tasks
Support content capture and social activations where required
Help manage registrations, queues, participants and customer flow during events
Work closely with the Event Project Manager and wider Jibworx / Ridestore team
Be proactive, identify what needs doing and get involved without needing constant direction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in brand activation, retail, hospitality, events or another relevant customer-facing environment
At least one additional specialist skill or area of experience that you can bring to the tour

Energetic and able to create a positive atmosphere around the activation
Reliable, punctual and professional
Hands-on and happy to get involved with the practical side of event and store delivery

Happy working early starts, late finishes, weekends and changing schedules during live event periods
Comfortable living, working and travelling closely with the same team for extended periods
Able to take responsibility for tasks and work independently when required

Fluent spoken English
A full driving licence is essential. Crew members will be expected to assist with driving throughout the tour, including vehicles in European ski resorts and winter conditions. Applicants should therefore be confident drivers and comfortable with long-distance European travel.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
French speakers are particularly encouraged to apply.
A significant proportion of the tour takes place in French-speaking resorts, including Les Deux Alpes, Avoriaz, Tignes and Val Thorens, as well as Verbier in French-speaking Switzerland.
Having crew members who can communicate confidently in French will be extremely valuable for day-to-day resort operations, customer conversations, suppliers and local relationships.
Fluent French would therefore be a major advantage and may form part of how we build the final team.
German, Italian or Swedish language skills would also be beneficial.

This is a seasonal freelance role combining brand activation, retail, events and mountain life. The touring periods will be intensive at times, with early starts, late finishes, changing weather and plenty of hands-on work.
For the right people, it offers the opportunity to spend a winter travelling through some of Europe’s best ski resorts, work closely with leading snowsports brands and become part of a small core team delivering a completely new touring activation.
If you’re outgoing, capable, love the mountains and have something extra you can bring to the team, we’d love to hear from you.
