Role Overview
Working under the overall Jibworx Project Lead, the Project Manager will take day-to-day ownership of the planning, advancing and delivery of the Ridestore Tour, becoming the central operational point of contact across resorts, suppliers, crew and the wider Ridestore team.
The role is designed to take operational ownership of the tour once strategy, budget and overall direction have been agreed, while escalating major commercial, creative or unbudgeted decisions to the Jibworx Project Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Project management: Plan, coordinate and oversee each resort stop, ensuring timelines, tasks, actions and deliverables are managed from start to finish.
● Event advancing: Maintain the master advance for each resort, ensuring site information, schedules, contacts, staffing, logistics, accommodation, transport, technical requirements, health & safety documentation and outstanding actions are completed ahead of arrival.
● Resort liaison: Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for ski resorts. Confirm sites, container positioning, vehicle and delivery access, ground conditions, power, internet/connectivity, operating permissions, opening hours, snow clearing, waste, security, local infrastructure, set-up and breakdown requirements.
● Tour logistics: Coordinate movement of the two travelling 20ft pop-up containers and associated event equipment between resorts, working with transport providers and resort teams to ensure each site is ready for arrival, installation and departure.
● Team management: Lead and manage the freelance Brand Ambassador and event teams, including rotas, briefings, responsibilities, performance, welfare and day-to-day operations.
● Event delivery: Oversee delivery of the tour programme, including workshops, athlete Q&As, freestyle sessions, competitions, product experiences, community events, social activations and apres activities, in collaboration with the wider Ridestore and Jibworx teams.
● On-site operations: Ensure each activation is correctly set up, staffed and operating smoothly, acting as the lead day-to-day problem-solver when issues arise.
● Supplier & contractor management: Coordinate transport companies, production teams, local suppliers, contractors and external partners to ensure deliveries, services and deadlines are met.
● Marketing & content support: Work alongside the marketing and content teams to support social activations, content capture, resort promotion and athlete/creator activity.
● Budget & administration: Manage agreed areas of the project budget, track committed and actual expenditure, coordinate bookings and purchase requirements, and maintain accurate project documentation. New or unbudgeted expenditure must be escalated in line with agreed approval limits.
● Health & safety: Ensure agreed health & safety procedures, risk assessments, operational controls and resort requirements are followed across each stop.
● Communication & reporting: Keep the wider Ridestore Tour team updated on progress, upcoming requirements, risks, issues and performance of each resort stop. Escalate material issues early.
● Decision making: Make operational decisions independently within agreed budgets and project parameters, while recognising when an issue requires escalation to the Jibworx Project Lead or Ridestore.
CORE PROJECT DELIVERABLES:
● Maintain a master project plan and advance document covering all resort stops.
● Produce and manage individual resort schedules, contact sheets, site information, crew plans and operational documents.
● Maintain live action, logistics and budget trackers and ensure owners and deadlines are clear.
● Lead regular project update meetings with Jibworx / Ridestore as required.
● Provide concise post-stop reporting and a final post-tour report/reconciliation at the end of the project.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
● An experienced Event Project Manager, ideally with experience delivering live events, brand activations or touring projects.
● Confident managing teams, delegating responsibilities and holding people accountable for actions and deadlines.
● Experienced in liaising with venues, ski resorts, suppliers and contractors.
● Previous experience working in ski resorts or alpine environments is highly desirable. A strong practical understanding of resort operations and mountain environments is essential.
● Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple resort stops, deadlines, logistics and changing priorities at the same time.
● A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
● Proactive, calm under pressure and able to identify and solve problems before they become larger issues.

● Comfortable working with budgets, schedules, project trackers and operational documents.
● Safety-conscious and able to follow and implement event H&S procedures.
● Flexible and adaptable to changing plans, mountain weather and the realities of a travelling winter event.
● Comfortable with extended periods of travel and living/working in ski resorts, including early starts, late finishes, weekends and changing schedules during live delivery periods.
● Confident making operational decisions independently within agreed parameters while knowing when to escalate.
● Passionate about skiing/snowboarding and mountain culture.
● A full driving licence and confidence driving in winter/alpine conditions needed.
