About the Role
Photograph is not the yacht looking for a chef, but is representative of the yacht.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sole Chef to join a private sailing yacht operating a dual-season programme, with summers cruising the Mediterranean and winters in the Caribbean.
The yacht accommodates up to 10 guests alongside 4 crew, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the full galley operation, including menu planning, provisioning and preparing high-quality meals for both guests and crew.
The role
• Cooking for up to 10 charter guests and 4 crew
• Creating varied, high-quality menus tailored to individual guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Strong focus on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Managing provisioning and galley inventory across different cruising destinations
• Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and occasional snacks or beach BBQs
• Providing varied and nutritious crew meals
• Maintaining excellent galley hygiene, organisation and food safety standards
• Managing the galley budget and minimising waste
• Working closely with the Captain and interior team to deliver an exceptional charter experience
• Remaining flexible and calm around changing guest requirements and itineraries
The ideal candidate
We are looking for an experienced yacht or professional chef who is confident working independently and enjoys the variety and responsibility of a sole-chef position.
Previous yacht experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience cooking for charter guests. Candidates should have a broad culinary repertoire, be comfortable with Mediterranean and international cuisine, and have a genuine passion for producing excellent food in a small galley environment.
Yacht experience cooking for approximately 10 guests would be highly advantageous.
