About the Role
Firstly, you must be an exceptional and experienced nanny with a genuine passion for working with children. As Head Nanny for Zermatt you will represent Petit Verbier locally and be an example to the team through your professionalism, attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding childcare.
As Petit Verbier does not have a permanent office in Zermatt, you will also act as the local face of the company, helping us maintain a strong presence in the resort, supporting the nanny team and building relationships with local businesses and partners.
Operations & Quality
• Work closely with the management team to maintain Petit Verbier's service standards.
• Assist with staff onboarding and integration.
• Share new childcare ideas, activities and best practices with the team.
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding bookings, clients and nanny performance.
• Attend online meetings whenever possible.
Brand Representation & Business Development
As Petit Verbier's local representative in Zermatt, you will help strengthen the company's presence within the resort. Responsibilities include:
• Represent Petit Verbier professionally at all times.
• Wear the Petit Verbier uniform while on duty.
• Build relationships with local families, hotels, chalet companies, concierges and other relevant businesses.
• Identify partnership opportunities and suggest local marketing initiatives.
• Help increase Petit Verbier's visibility throughout Zermatt by actively promoting our services and values.
• Report local opportunities, feedback and market insights to the management team.
While this role is not sales focused, we value initiative and enthusiasm in helping Petit Verbier continue to grow within the resort.
Typical Week
Your responsibilities will vary depending on bookings and the time of year, but may include:
• Private nanny bookings.
• Weekly check-ins with the nanny team.
• Welcoming and supporting new nannies.
• Visiting local partners and maintaining relationships.
• Organising a team meet meetings or social event.
• Providing feedback and updates to management.
• Supporting local marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Assisting with onboarding when required.
